a quiet mechanic-turned-outlaw, born and raised in blockrock, renowned both for her seemingly boundless optimism and her propensity for ending up involved in everyone else's business.

Biography

Childhood

Robin was raised in Blockrock by her father Polro, and to a lesser extent, her older brother Elro. Her mother was distant, and died when Robin and Elro were young, leaving Robin with little memories of her. Because of her mother's occupation as a farmer, they lived outside of Settlement 17 in wider Blockrock, where the farmland was more plentiful.

As a child, Robin was very talkative and social, but as time passed, her family became busier and busier, and she became more introverted, burying herself in Polro's books about mechanics and digging through manuals for household objects.

When she was twelve, Elro was assigned his job at ChemiCo and moved out of the family home, leaving her with her father. Where Elro was once able to pick up the slack in taking care of the house, things soon fell into disrepair due to Polro's depression and frequent absences. Robin began doing all of the housework– including the more mechanical aspects of the house, which would normally be taken care of by Polro or another adequately blessed mechanic.

"The End of the World"

After Polro's passing, she picked up his wrench and took to Settlement 17, becoming the settlement's so-called "heroine of handiwork".

In His wake

For a short time, Robin continued to work as a mechanic, helping to return Settlement 17 to livable conditions, and later assisting the Neo Contra in restoring communications between several other settlements. However, the events of The End of the World had taken its toll on her, and it became harder and harder for her to enjoy her job. In the end, she chose to put down her wrench, taking up the role of a courier, hitching rides and delivering letters between a handful of settlements, City One, and Isilugar.
